How about the MLB gets rid of all umpires?

These guys have become a laughing stock. Totally cuckolded by the challenge rule and doing their jobs worse than ever before.

Just make it all automated and toss these buffoons down to little league.

Great offensive game btw lol. Cespedes!

    Five game lead. Incredible.

The guys at work tried to mock me as if being excited and optimistic about the season so far is setting myself up for disappointment if they don't win the World Series, but I'd rather enjoy the season when we are playing well and deal with what comes later than pretend this isn't fun and exciting.

Lets go! 5 game lead over the Nats and we have our horses coming up soon. We really need to take 2/3 vs Colorado and then 3/4 vs Philthadelphia.

With the Met killer now gone I'm hoping we sweep the Phils.

I was just checking out the Mets schedule vs the Nats. Monday August 31 - September 2 is going to be a monster couple of days for us to add to our lead. Nats play AT Cardinals and we are home vs Philly. Obviously the biggest games are the ones when we play them heads up, but other than that, those three days give us a great opportunity to gain substantially (at least 2 games)

These games have been fun to watch the last 2 nights but is this really even baseball?

Imagine an NFL team with a field that was only 50 yards. Thats pretty much what goes on out in Colorado.

I'm beyond thrilled we won but I haven't found these last two games enjoyable at all. Didn't feel like real games. That ballpark is a joke. Yay for winning though!

    Duda hits the DL.

That's rough, but if he can be back in 2 weeks at 100 percent it's worth it.

Hopefully Wright can add enough pop to where we aren't missing him that much.

Not too thrilled about Uribe potentially batting cleanup the next 2 weeks though

Is it back dated to when he last played?

I was wondering the same thing.

I would guess it wouldn't be since he played Friday and was taken out.

At this point they should just give him the time off and hope it does the trick.

    Ah crap forgot he played.

Yeah, shut him down and get him healed up. He a big part of that lineup, can't afford to lose him for the September run.

He's apparently going to see the same doc Wright did for his back issue... I'm not liking this

Great job by Verrett today to finish off the sweep.

He really saved the pen which was needed in a big way.

    Colorado is fucking ridiculous.

I cannot believe MLB allows that stadium.
