I've been rough on Granderson in the past but he's really been our best position player. No jinx on him, keep it going dude. Degrom great night!

We win! Hate to say it but I don't trust not one person in this bullpen. Yes, that includes Benitez 2.o

We sure had to hang on for that one. Important to win this game considering Noah's road struggles going tomorrow.

Grandy has been our offensive MVP this year. Awesome season for him. The pregame the other night was showing the difference in his stance/swing this season compared to last year. This year its much more comparable to the way it was with the Yanks. Gotta think Long has made a pretty big difference in that area for him.

You have to figure Long has had a very positive impact on Granderson.

deGrom's stats are insane, should have more than 12 wins and certainly the top Cy Young candidate

Guess we could start talking about this. Im not big on these inning limits but I wouldnt mind Harvey not pitching in Coors this weekend. Maybe pitch him next in one of the final games in Philly.

Mets are in a tough spot here. Noah is going to get to a point innings wise that he's never hit before. I guess its too late to skip him today. I really would try to only pitch him at home the rest of the season.

Matz should be back up soon too so thats gonna help too when it comes to giving these 2 guys some rest in between starts.

    Grienke's ERA is 1.58 and he's 13-2.

I think unless he implodes he's most likely to win the Cy Young.

deGrom certainly deserves 2 or 3 more wins though. Its crazy how much of a gem he's been since getting up here. No one in the Mets organization saw that coming.

Game 1 in a playoff series , I hope they give him the ball.

Can't wait for Matz to take a start or two away from Harvey and Noah. That would be ideal. Not big on limiting innings but it's going to happen so at least lets make it entertaining.

Completely missed the game last night. Luckily we got the W, that is all that matters.

And we couldn't hold the lead. Now to the bottom of the 9th.. lets see if our bullpen can hold on for us and allow the offense to get a run. I'm feeling a Cespedes homer in extras

Noah Syndergaard is now 0-5 with a 5.05 ERA in nine starts away from Citi Field. Concerning? What good is having starters missing games if they don't make the playoffs?

He would have won if the stupid bullpen didn't choke the game away again. They almost did it in the first Baltimore game as well. Familia looked bad with the 2 walks leading to 2 scores in the first Baltimore game. I think Noah's consistency will improve on the road over time. He's still young and he should have more wins than he does. One thing I know is that we won't win in the playoffs with the bullpen giving up so many runs.

Nats losing again made it a great night off.. especially considering Scherzer was on the mound for them.

In regards to Thor, if we make the playoffs the guy should ONLY pitch at home.. set up the rotation to allow for that. Don't be stupid here Terry.
