Well, then SF can try to win without Beltran. That's all.

Awesome game today. Destroying Cole Hamels is fun.

I think it's less the Giants trying to win the NLW and more the Giants trying to beat a Philly team that has Cliff Lee back. The Mets have a decent chance to get a #2 or 3 guy from the Giants because of this.

sandy doesn't need to 'get back to reality'. he's playing the beltran situation perfectly

Another good win by the AAAA mets.

Anyone who thinks Sandy will give away Beltran is crazy , i heard Rosenthal say last night that the Mets are willing to trade Beltran plus cash to get a good prospect in return.

Trust in Alderson guys this bloke actually seems toknow what he is doing!!!

The Cardinals should trade for Pelfrey. He is from that region of the country and we all know he'll get straightened out there.

Buster Olney tweeting that Mets are 100% sure they won't trade Reyes.

^^there are reports that we'll be able to get back at the least one top prospect for beltran. it'll be bittersweet because i love beltran and he's done so much for us throughout his time here, but if we're getting offered a top prospect +, we should and most likely will take the deal

Agree ref beltran and everyone remembers one at bat not his perf in that series nor the failure of heilman etc etc

i would love to resign him and execute Bay but we mst keep Reyes and we cant aford both, still see Boston signing him and we will get a SP prospect in return

It could also be the Pirates, Phillies, Tigers, Rangers, or Giants who get him.

Bobby Parnell is filling the Heath Bell/Aaron Heilman role nicely. Look good on occasion but suck dick in the big spot- that's the role.

What? That run was a product of great baserunning and the defense not being totally aware.

You think I watched it? I can't be bothered to watch these fuckin' games. I just saw he had a 9.00 ERA tonight when looking at an opponent's roster in a fantasy league.

Mets come back from being down 4-0 and 5-4 and win on a walkoff shot by Pagan in the 10th!
