Why was Lo Duca standing two feet in front of the plate? The ball on the throw goes a lot faster than he does in moving back to make the tag.

Turned on the game to watch the Reds. Good to see Pedro back for you guys -- I hope he can find his old form for the September stretch run. At this point he looks a little rusty.

Well, maybe this was why Pedro should have had at least one outing against hitters higher than class A.

if the mets comeback to win, you knew it would happen

if pedro pitches good next start, you knew it would happen

if the mets win the world series, you knew it would happen

that should cover some future posts of yours

Take a deep breath. The Reds are on a bit of a tear since Narron got fired at the all star break. If you don't take this game, odds are about even tomorrow and definitely in your favor with Shearn pitching for the Reds in the last game of the series.

When his fastball was 80 MPH, yeah. Looks like he muscled up a bit towards the end of the inning there though.

Alou gets a run back after his misplay in LF.

    alou gets his run back.

you know, it would've been nice if he would've come up and done that with 2 guys on last inning. but willie only pays attention to matchups when it gives him a chance to sit milledge.

I still hate Alou. Or at least, strongly dislike him. A lot.

Alou isnt the one to pick on for Milledge not playing. Green is.

Not what I was doing. I was saying Alou should be batting 5th today with his numbers against Harang.

Harang gets the punchout. The only bright spot in the Reds rotation.

reds did a good job resigning him last year, and the price isn't crazy either for someone who may be the best pitcher in the NL.

    arroyo however, was overpaid.

Why would any Red swing at the first pitch? I mean, that's just dumb, right?
