reyes draws the walk, 5-0 Mets

 

Reyes walks after being down 1-2 in the count to drive in the run - something that would have never happened a year or two ago.

 

Oops, sorry Willie - I turned on the game late.

 

mets fail to get the big hit but still come up with 2 runs, 5-0. cant complain.

 

And the distinctly non-major leaguer Lawrence is proceeding to give the lead away.

God, Lawrence sucks (as a pitcher, that is).

 

either our pitchers suck, or the pirates just do not give up...

 

I've been in that tower at the University of Pittsburgh where the picture of people overlooking Forbes Field was taken (I was there giving a seminar). It's called the Cathedral of Learning, and is 535 feet high, so it's a little bit higher than the press box, Gary.

 

and of coruse we cant get out of it without a run.. come on

anderson caught that ball, but all that ended up happening as a result of the bad call was the runners changed.

 

need to add more runs with this pitching/pesky pirates
