Wille is killing this bullpen. I understand that the lefties were up, but he should have kept Sosa in. He's been off for two days while everyone has pitched in both games this series.
I disagree here, if only for the way this inning was handled. Feliciano's on this team to face the Utleys and Howards and Jenkinses of the world. It was smart pinch hitting by Manuel is all.
I'm sure Milledge is going to be a better player. I simply don't want that type of guy on my team. The Mets cannot have a player making explicit rap songs representing the organization considering all the young fans and corporate sponsors and what not.
And I don't particularly want a player who's convinced the flying spaghetti monster is going to send all the non-believers to the burning pit of fire for all eternity, but whatever. I just want whichever one plays baseball better.
Just like the child molestation issue, you don't get this issue one bit, either. Fortunately or unfortunately, I don't have the time or energy to expound further at this time.
