^While I like how Church has played, trying to get people to eat crow after only 1 month is very premature

It's funny to see how people make this out to be as drastic as the Kazmir trade though.

Funny, considering how many times you say you hate the Mets and you don't want to root for them and your overreaction all of the time to the Jets and Mets. Or the Rangers and Gomez.

Also, it's pretty easy for you to just handpick stats.

Yeah, Mota has a 2.25 ERA and is 1-1, but he has also allowed 23 baserunners in 16 innings.

And as far as Schneider goes, his 69 AB are a really small sample size (less than 60% of the Mets' games) since he's been hurt, his one home run came when the Mets already had a huge lead, and his defense has been horrendous. I'm not trying to say the Milledge trade hasn't looked great so far, but it's been not even a month and a half yet.

Great thing this didn't happen. Posada was an absolute no-no for so many reasons.

I root for certain players. It's hard to root for teams that are .500 when giving all the things needed to be the best team in the National League. There are a lot of things I hate about my teams, doesn't mean I'll ever stop rooting for them. It's spur of the moment feelings on the team. I live and die with every game.

I agree with the Mota thing. I was just making it known that it was interesting that he could end up being Gagne's replacement.
