that's okay, that is a pretty important part of the season. let's just hope you haven't done too much damage to the season before then.
You know, I have no problem with tweaking a closer by putting him in in the 8th inning, just so they realize that they're not as important as they think they are. That didn't, of course, have anything to do with this. The extra bonus was that Feliciano, who has given up a .308 BA and .423 OBP to righthanded hitters, faced four straight righthanded hitters in the 9th inning. Nothing like knowing the lineup situation when you plan your bullpen use ...
Probly has alot to do with the Marlins being a stones-throw away from the island and the Mets apperently only having a recruiting office on each island, no where else.
Puerto Ricans pay taxes. Maybe a kinder, gentler kind of taxes than you do, but you get more rights than they do.
Why would you think that? Aside from the 2009 season marred by epic injuries, the last time they were bad was when Art Howe was the manager.
tied at 4 now. Pelfrey hit around in the 5th, and is going to get chased shortly. David Wright is in a close race with the injured Polanco at NL 3B 25 hours or so left. vote.mlb.com
I know. What I'm saying, though, is having "Los" on the jersey is utterly moronic. Why is "Los" needed? Nobody puts "The" on their jerseys.
to make it sound Spanish. They can't change the team name so they add on a Spanish word. Anyway, Marlins gifting the Mets an inning here with two bad errors. Leads to an RBI single for Thole.
bad luck with bases loaded and one out, line drive up the middle, but Hanley was position in the right spot, caught it, and stepped on second. DP..
 , they showed the crowd, and there's a guy tossing beers indiscriminately to the crowd. They never do that at Citi Field!
I was just explaining it in case you actually didn't understand. That's more being helpful than "impossible", but YMMV. Anyway, a comedy of errors for the Marlins.
I don't know what YMMV stands for, so that you could explain. I don't remember specifically when the Mets wore Los Mets jerseys in recent years, but I am assuming they did so on Cinco de Mayo or on those heritage nights. This year they'll probably wear them on August 13th which is Fiesta Latina Night. I still don't get why "Los" has to be on the jersey. If the regular jerseys had "The Mets" on them, then I could see changing it to "Los Mets" on those special Latin nights.
Ugh, 2 outs, no one on, and the Marlins string 2 quick hits together and scratch out a run...why can't we ever do that? The last two innings we left two guys on in each inning and lined into a DP with the bases loaded the inning before that.
