8 runs in one game? That is about two weeks worth of production for these Mets.

 

This is very odd.

 

The Mets are now 29th in the majors in homers, pulling ahead of the Pirates. Mets now have 50. Four teams have more than twice that.

Tatis has scored three times.

 

...and tied for last again.

 

Is there any reason why Redding is still on the team? The Mets don't have anyone in the organization that could do any better than a 7 ERA?

how many blown saves do the Mets have against the Pirates the last few years? it seems like every time they play this team there's some disaster in the 9th inning.
