Depends. If Omar can't pick up a legitimate bat at this point I don't see how he can keep his job. Hopefully the new GM would send Jerry and the rest of his crew packing. Even if Jerry did get fired mid-season I can't see a new manager making much of a difference with the current roster. The lineup is awful, the bullpen is unreliable beyond K-Rod and Parnell and after Johan the starting pitching has been spotty all year long too. Whoever is in charge of evaluating injuries should be fired yesterday though. Between the way Church was handled last year and Reyes this year there really is no excuse for it.
