I'd say that it's because of LoDuca's numbers at Atlanta but I'm pretty sure that's not why Willie did it.

If this is Glavine's last year or last year with the Mets I don't think I'll be shedding any tears. That Francouer AB showed how limited he is at this point.

 

I don't see how this can be anything other than his last year with the Mets. He's pitching on guile alone these days - his stuff is just horrible, and 9 HRs in 61 innings proves it.

 

How the hell does that pitch get hit out for an opposite field HR?

from reading the above posts it seems that Glavine is sucking ass again against the Braves. Gee, what a surprise. I knew this was not a worthwhile game to watch. Excellent choice by me.

The way Glavine is giving up these long hits and outs, I'll be stunned if he doesn't give up at least 4 or 5 runs tonight.
