If the Mets make the postseason, perhaps Jerry Manuel will win the NL Manager of the Year Award. New York would sweep those awards since clearly Joe G. Girardi will win the AL award.
I love how the guys are saying that letting Condrey bat showed that Manuel thought his team was still in the game, when that's exactly what he would have done if he thought the game was over. Keith takes nothing but positives for this game for Pedro? One of the more idiotic statements he's made in a while.
Going back to the managers thing, if the Dodgers make the playoffs maybe Joe Torre would be the NL winner. Imagine that- Torre and J.G. Girardi as the managers of the year.
Last night, the game was 2:27 long. Tonight, we're 2:22 in and 1 out in the top of the 6th. What a contrast.
Greg Dobbs and Scott Eyre come in for the double switch. Feliz comes out. Eyre to face Delgado and Beltran. Maybe even Tatis and Church if the inning continues.
