    I agree to a point. You can't hold a coach/manager responsible for aging/deterioration of physical skills. If players look like they're not trying or hustling that's the kind of thing you get on a manager for. If a guy is in a slump or just not that good anymore what is the manager supposed to do?

    No, it's not possible that Lo Duca drove in that run with a two-out hit. Is my TV broken or something?

    well, it WAS a particularly awful pitch. l-millz doesn't seem to have too good of a handle on peavy's slider.

    duque once again pulled with a relatively low pitch count and pitching great.

    just heard the last pitcher to steal bases in back to back games was tom seaver 40 years ago

    I can't believe the Mets got to Peavy last night!

    Beautiful Petco and and beautiful win (hopefully) for the Padres!

    I love west coast games.. There is nothing on at 10pm when it starts(not that there is anything on ever but) kids are asleep, wife is doing her thing by then.. Can just chill and watch baseball, I love it..

    I guess if you don't have a problem with staying up past 1 AM.

    I don't, but most working people do. :wink:

    I don't, I'm up past 1 am mostly everyday anyway and I am up every morning by 7 am for work the next day..
