    3-2 Mets.

Awful decision to bunt by Flores a day after McLouth laid down a stupid bunt.

This, to me, is the biggest dissapointment of the year. The starting position could be his if only he wanted it.

wright k'd with runners on 1st/3rd and 1 out

    it's 3-2 mets, for now

anyone see the score in that red sox/rangers game? red sox scored 10 in the bottom of the 1st and now the rangers just scored 8 top 5 to cut it to 12-10

yeah, that's crazy. Red Sox have this knuckleballer making his major league debut, to replace Wakefield.

    He and Feldman got pummeled.

Santana will at least begin the 7th. After his awful start, that's impressive.

No one should have any trouble understanding why the Sox traded for Paul Byrd. Other than Dice-K and Lester, their starters are only 28-29.

14-10 Red Sox. Ortiz double and then a Youkilis homer.

Ortiz has two three run homers (both in the first) and a double.

Pedroia, Byrd, and Ortiz each have three hits, and it's the 5th inning!

Who is this "El Duque" of whom they speak?

    Big fail for Santana.

Wakefield is solid. The reason they're getting hammered tonight is because they had to bring up a 29 year old knuckleballer to make his major league debut due to Wakefield's stiff shoulder.

Wakefield, Matsuzaka, Lester, Beckett is better than most teams.

Wakefield is having his best year since 2002 (by a lot), which makes me think that he will come back down to earth somewhat. Beckett is okay, but (for whatever reason) he is nowhere near as good in the regular season as he is in the postseason.

Make that 14-14, and Texas has 1st-and-third with one out.

I hope Castro is still hurting, because otherwise pinch hitting Murphy here is crazy.

Castro has an OPS of 1.038 with runners on base (it was .987 last year), but you pinch hit for him. And now you have to use Schneider as a pinch hitter for Santana, when you could have used Murphy in that situation. Again, unless Castro's ankle is bothering him, this was horrible lineup management.
