it's official, i now hate gary cohen. i'm answering the phone, hear him start screaming when beltran hits the ball and get back to look just in time to see the ball not even come close to the wall.

this is becoming an epidemic, i watched almost every mets game last year and I don't remember him pulling this crap.

 

Mr. 3000 once again pissed at the home plate umpire.

Just when it looks like Pelfrey might keep it at one run, he doesn't.

 

Pelfrey once again manages to string a few good innings together and then throw up a big steaming pile of shit. Stop throwing this clown out there.

 

And once again Pelfrey proves that he is very far from being a major league pitcher.

 

Maybe Pelfrey should be turned into a middle reliever? He sure as hell isn't a starter at this point.

 

I don't know that they're ready to give up on him as a starter. I mean he's only 23. Keith keeps claiming that Pelfrey made a "big step forward" tonight but it looked like the same old to me(with a very generous HP umpire no less).

Well, at least Delgado hasn't been as incredibly bad the past six weeks as he was before that.

Willie should have left Glavine in to hit even if he was done pitching - he's a much better hitter than Newhan.

 

Reyes singles, and he should try to steal on the first pitch.

 

The starting second baseman Gotay (I wish) singles. I really wish Reyes had run on the pitch.

 

It's absolutely amazing how bad Beltran has been with RISP this year.

Get this fucking guy off the team. Has got to be a top 5 worse signing in Mets history. He is horrible.
