On the 50th year of the Mets do you think they set a new all time loss record?

Sandy did nothing to fix this rotation. I can't believe that Pelfrey is still on this team. What a joke! I hate the Wilpons and wish they would just sell the team! Why doesn't MLB step in and take over like they did in LA?

Duda shouldn't hit 5th, but with the walls moving in he should produce some decent numbers with his power. Hey it's something to look forward to in this shit of a season.

    Royals West 86-76
    Royals East 68-94

Those are my predictions as of this date.

You really think the Royals are gonna 86-76!!!?? So your saying with a division with the Rays, Yankees, Red Sox, and Blue Jays in it that the Royals will be 3rd-2nd place? Cuz that's what a 86-76 record would give them.

Royals are not in the East. KC has a ton of young talent and a lot will be with the big club this season. They will give the Tigers a good battle I believe.

I agree with you that the Royals are on the rise, but I just don't see them cracking 80 wins this year.

These Royals remind me of the Indians of the early 90s. There are too many good young players for them to not start to have winning seasons. Outside of Detroit, I don't see the Central as being a tough division.

Did anyone else see Pelfrey talking on SNY about developing two new pitches in the off season.

I wish he would just work on getting his sinker to sink instead of stink.

    I foresee the following

Spring training: Bay feels confident he can recover his old form

3 weeks in to season: Bay searching for his form....

Mid season: Bay in a 3-40 slump

September: Bay benched to avoid vesting option

Yes I am a pessemistic fucker!
