So, the Snoopy blimp will be doing flyovers at kickoff? That is sure to make visiting teams quake in their spikes.

Ahh well, looks like they will continue to play in NEW JERSEY, for the last 27 or so years and the next 100. The Jersey Jets.

well the Colts belong in Baltimore. But theyre not. Just like the Jets, Everyone has to get used to it, because they wont ever play in NY in our lifetime. Give into the darkside of the force. New Jersey.

Well, the Colts really belong in Cleveland and the other Colts belong in Baltimore and the Rams belong in LA and The Titans in Houston and probably 8 others belong somewhere else as well.

You are right, and its tough to get used to a move. Thats why they are still NY. people can argue all they want but here it is. Colts homefield: Indy, Oilers play in Nashville, Jets hometurf: NEW JERSEY.

Jets should move to Queens. It's the one borough with plenty of space and it has two airports. Teams can come str8 from the airport, get their ass whoopin, and promptly go the fuck back home!

So Newark airport is not close enough?

It's all a moot point. We don't root for Metlife. We are locked into the new place for many years to come in New Jersey.

It's all about the team on the field, our Jets.

So Jetlife Stadium it is for me.

My point is that we should be in NY. We're the NY Jets. We shouldn't be sharing a stadium and we shouldn't be in Jersey. You play in great cities when your great! Playing in NJ is just admitting to being OK! lol j/k

How did MetLife not get in on Citifield? Wouldn't that have made more sense?

The only part I agree with is that WE SHOULD NOT BE SHARING A STADIUM.

I don't think that would have been a great business move. People would think that it's just a nickname for the Mets, and not associate it with the actual company.

Like is Jaguar bought Jacksonville's stadium, it would be called Jaguar Stadium. I would think it was called that because that's where the Jags play, not because of the car company.

Metlife didn't want to be associated with a loser is my guess.

Dude, it's been almost 30 years now. Let it go. They play in New Jersey. Who cares as long as they win.

If NY wanted the Jets, they should have pushed harder to get them a few years back. NY had the opportunity but allowed James Dolan and several politicians to foil the plot.

If it makes you feel better, you can see the NY skyline from the new stadium. Almost makes you feel like you are there.
