This is just ridiculously heavy. One of the underrated bands in the game.

Queensryche fired Geoff Tate. They are carrying on with who gives a shit and keeping the name. How do you attempt to market that band without that singer? How stupid.

Shiiiiiit. I heard he wasn't touring because his arm was shot from an untreated brown recluse bite. Apparently that necrotic shit plays hell on a damaged liver.

    \m/ RIP Jeff

New Megadeth dropping later this summer. Thirteen was ok, Black Swan was the only track I really liked.

Also anyone trying to find new bands to listen to should check out Unearth. Pretty consistently good djent/blast beat stuff. My favorite track is Giles if you want to give them a test run.

I thought Thirteen was dogshit. Endgame was good tho, Megadeth just hasnt been the same to me since Friedman quit.

That band has been around for like fifteen years and they sound exactly like Soilwork, who I hate.

Yeah, I guess so. They're practically the same band.

I don't mind soil work or unearth in small doses. But I'm a sucker for catchy riffs and hooks though. Does get old quick though.

Anything new out there worth checking out? The new hypocrisy and amorphis are solid and before that I've been listening to the latest cannibal corpse and agalloch's Faustian echoes. I'll probably pick up the new arsis soon too.

Man, ever since The Arrival, I can't listen to new Hypocrisy. It all sounds the same to me.

Abducted is always in my regular playlist, though.

Most of my new music involves Doom.

The arrival was awful but they have been much better since. They added horgh of immortal on drums and brought back more of an aggressive sound.
