Wow so few posts lately. 6 days 'till I see Maiden for the first time. It's pretty much dominating my thoughts right now.
you're in for a really great show. maiden always puts on a killer show, and this tour they are covering the best run of their career. number of the beast thru seventh son!
I went to see Black Dahlia/3 Inches of Blood/Hate Eternal last night. The sound guy should be executed. Couldn't hear half the instruments.
Decrepit Birth wasn't touring with them? I heard they were selling their new album on tour. I can't wait to pick it up, it sounds tremendous from the samples I've heard.
Just got back from Motley cruise... I know some of the metal guys on here arent too into the hair metal. But man...that was a helluva time. Metal brotherhood still exists...bigtime.
Nice, man. Have fun. My girlfriend was going to get us tickets for christmas but waited a little too late to buy 'em and now prices have skyrocketed for the show at the Meadowlands. I hope they expand the tour to the Garden or Nassau Colesseum soon, this tour's gonna be amazing. ^That's sweet with the Motley Cruise, Kurt. I'm a fan of some hair metal, but have never gotten to see anyone play live.
They will be playing Jones Beach in June. hasn't been officially announced yet,but April,May and June are going to be all US dates. I hope they hit somewhere down here closer than Charlotte. One of the things i miss about NY,there isn't anywhere close to see the bigger shows here.
Just won a competition that puts me on the barrier for the Maiden show... I am unsure how to explain my emotions right now.
I have no doubt, that was the greatest experience of my life so far. Simply amazing. I managed to stay on the barrier in the middle of the stage the whole concert, most people bailed about 10 songs through. Pretty stoked to have been able to be there the whole time, and have the time of my life. Also, caught a Steve Harris wristband .
