One drop ball on MNF = Boo! A dropped TD on MNF = Off with his head! If he does some sh!t like that again, the media is going to rip him a new and I have a feeling teammates, depending on what goes down on Monday, wont even have his back if hes dropping sh!t left and right
Exactly a lot of people were sure he would end up missing a year because 1 little thing and he was done. Luckily he has kept out of trouble unlike Braylon who everyone all of a sudden wants so much more then him.
santonio can't do anything if he's not getting the ball. it's very simple he's frustrated that he can't have an impact on the game because he doesn't get enough opportunities. not getting the ball to your best playmaker on offense is obviously a huge issue
they might have been. we had a shit load of 3 and outs. btw BJGE gained about 60 yards on that last drive.
Im not defending the offense at all they needed to do a better job and didn't. Im just saying the D has room to improve and if they played one of their better games then we could have won.
because a single play in a single game does not indicate a problem the same way that consistently bad play over a stretch of games does. if you want to make a sound argument, you need to consider the differences in the situations you are comparing before jizzing your pants over a similarity and starting a bad thread about it.
lol 100% tone had some easy drops last year that actually cost us two games(dolphins, packers)...but how many big plays did he have that won us games? at least twice as many. Houston, Detroit, Cleveland and Denver (PI call)
The best thing would be for Tone to drop a TD pass and Brandon Moore then give hime a head slap and words of encouragement... It would make the media STFU ....maybe not.
Rapery is officially the Word of the Day on TGG today. Example: I hope the Jets linebackers engage in so much rapery tomorrow night that Matt Moore retires post game.
First, I'll never apologize for jizzing in my pants. Second, Holmes should have kept his mouth shut just like his teammates did after he lost us the fins game last year. One easy catch - he blew it and no one said shit. They all supported him. He's a captain, so he throws his teammates under the bus? It's not a matter of similarities between situations. Third, I disagree about the thread.
Thanks for making my point. Good or bad performances, players shouldn't be ripping each other in the media. Would you have applauded if Mangold came out after the Fins game last year and destroyed Holmes in the press? How many great blocks did Slauson, Moore, Mangold throw last year that won us games? A bunch, but I didn't hear Tone praising them up and down. Yet they play like shit for three games and Santonio goes to the press and complains. Why not just shut the door and yell at your teammates instead of giving Fatty and Cimini hard ons?
