Message board makeover...

Have to agree here, now that I'm used to it I really don't like it.


I liked the different look this forum had, it was better than the others and different...with better readability.

 

Can we have a vote on whether or not the new look should be kept? Petro did say in the OP that if we don't like it then it will be reverted back.

 

Explorer. I don't know how to change browser settings in a way that would change this. I have never touched my browser settings, but never had a reason to. I visit tons of other sites regularly as well, so if changing anything will affect those, I will just have to suck it up and try to deal with this new scheme.

I think the top of the page is too large, with the Skyline banner, then the links, then more links, then a third row of links, then an advertisement. Plus, as someone else stater, the "quote, edit, etc" buttons are too big. Just my opinion though.

 

Kind of off topic, but since the change the only avatar I can't see is 624's. Anybody else having this problem?

 

I can't get rid of this toolbar and it's squishing the whole board down. It's hard to see and post.

I think it was M&M crew that used to have a small sketched star in his avvy. Used to like that.

 

I use Explorer and Firefox, also now have a new phone with a browser. You mentioned it can be closed but I still haven't figure out how, don't see an X or anything. The rest of the changes don't see like a big deal but having the board all crammed to the left makes it difficult to use. Not impossible but every time I come here now I end up trying to get rid of the toolbar and leaving instead of posting.

 

I will say that the only good part of the new site design is the fact that SixFeetDeep's avatar is now much larger.

 

I like it so far, nice and fresh!

In the Ipod (safari) the thread titles are displayed with different font sizes... some thread titles have bigger fonts than others.

 

Are you using a bookmark to get to the site? I tried getting here from an old link I found on Google and the X wasn't there. When I type the address in myself it's fine though.
