Ovechkin is such a crybaby. That dude always cries when his team loses. He does it every time he plays the Rangers. McDonagh is in his head. He shut him down again today.

Phil Kessel scores two early goals in the first but it's been pretty even since. Would like to see the US continue to pour it on but Slovenia is showing some toughness. 2-0 USA almost end of the first

Kessel with the natural hat trick followed by a Mcdonagh shelfer. 4-0 Usa

Slovakia is shutting down Russia almost through two periods.

Sweden is better than Russia. Russia has looked awful all tournament. We looked terrible against Russia. Russia is the 4th best out of US, Canada, Sweden, Russia

Looks like Russia will be playing an extra game. They've really looked terrible in this tourney. Their best game was against us by far

I would make Canada the favorite right now with US/Sweden right behind

If I was Russia I'm starting Varlamov the rest of the tournament. Datsyuk's health is key if Russia will have future success.

My heart says Finland today, but my brain is saying Canada. Hopefully the Canada that started against Norway shows up.

Finland is too under-manned. No chance against Canada today

Ugh I know. They just lost Barkov the other day too for the rest of the tourney. Only chance they have today is if Rask is spectacular

First real test today for Canada. Would reserve judgment on them until later today. USA is lights out right now, would not want to play them tomorrow.

Sweden and the US avoid the knockout round. Finland and Canada as well barring a huge blowout (if one loses in regulation, they'd tie Russia in points, but Russia is only +3 in GD and would lose the tiebreaker).

Russia still worries me more than Sweden. Sweden's forward group just isn't impressing me right now. They have a number of very talented forwards like D. Sedin, Landeskog, Steen, Backstrom and Alfredsson, but Russia's group of forwards worries me a lot more than that group. I know Sweden has Karlsson who is the best offensive defenseman in the world, but I still am more worried about the likes of Malkin, Ovi, Kovy, Datsyuk, Radulov and co getting their shit together and scoring a million goals. Russia's defense has looked better than I would have thought so far in this tournament, and their goaltending is very good. Their offense has really hampered them, but it still scares me more than Sweden's.
