I'll still pray everynight to the football God's that Chris Long somehow falls to six. But if this draft was how it happened, none of us could be upset.

that would be the perfect draft man. i think kipers smoking rock for sweed to fall to us. no fuckin way. hes the best reciever in the draft. he prolly goes to the titans to reunite him with vince young. i dunno how nobody mentions they have no star wideouts and vince used to have this guy as a target on his way to a national championship.

I don't know why, but I have a feeling Chris Long will fall. But I'm afraid the Pats will look to move ahead of us to No. 5 and take him there.

I can easily see Sween falling to 38, in fact I only see one WR going in RD 1 and that will be between 25 - 31...kid from Mich St.

A Gholston, Sweed day on Saturday would be the talk of the league as you can easily make the argument we got the best player at both positions in the entire draft....how many teams will be able to say that come sat night?

I was hoping Ravens *or Panthers for that matter* pay a king's ransom to trade up, and grab Matt Ryan. By King's ransom, I mean 1st and 2nd. (3rd? They have to be Bradway stupid to pull that off...)

    Then

    1. Derrick Harvey
2a. Limas Sweed (I doubt this though)
    2b. Curtis Lofton

    I am smoking something, right?

Wow...can't ask anything more then a draft like that. that, to me, is as good as it gets.

Fact of the matter is, putting brady on his backside is the only way we take the east. . .we need a freak ability pass rusher, and gholston fits the bill. Sweed won't fall that far but hey. . .a man can dream... :)

Mario Manningham? Doubt he'll be a first rounder.

Pff, if we don't take McFadden we're trading back into the first to get Stewart.

I didn't think Sweed would last and he still might not, but if we get this in the draft...I'd buy Tangini dinner at a 5 star restaurant. Now if they got Long, I'd bring them out to the bunny ranch in Vegas for a week

the "experts'" general concensus is that none of the WR's are really R1 worthy; however, they feel as many as four or five of them may be drafted in R1.

if Sweed somehow fell to us in R2, we'd have to take him.

i think NFLdraftcountdown has us taking Hardy in the second, which I wouldn't mind at all.

another guy that i think looks good is Eddie Royal from VT. i watched him during the Combine -- not the workout tests, but the actual drills in which the WR's run routes and catch. he looked impressive in these and actually stood out compared to the others; he made some tough catches and looked very natural. his scouting report isn't so hot, but maybe in R3 or R4 he could be a nice pick.

I could live with that. I would rather have Chris Long though. But either one can play the LT stand up LB position.

CHris Long is more of a 4-3 guy, Gholston would be a much better linebacker on the outside to get after QB. Gholston is faster.

I don't agree with this at all. Didn't Chris Long play in the 3-4 at Virginia?

Ah yes the football Gods. Who could forget them:

Penningtonor, the God of female shoulders
McCairenius, the God of bad hands
Martin-or, the God of grit and determination
Gastineauius, the God of drug induced fits of rage

All of them, memorialized for eternity up in the stars....

With a draft like that, gotta wonder if Kiper is a closet Jets fan.

He knows how notoriously bad we are at drafting, yet he sets us up with the perfect draft.
