McNabb to be released today

McNabb obviously didn't fit in Shanahan or Minnesota's systems. How do you think he'd fit in Schotty's?

 

I guess you haven't seen McNabb the last two seasons?

I'd take Orton over him in a heartbeat.

 

It is because McNabb sucks and also may have lost his love for the game.

Please make this McNabb guy go away. I hated watching him play.

 

I think that McNabb was one of the most underrated players in football during his prime, because Eagles fans are dicks. He got all the blame for the Eagles failing to get over the hump, despite the fact that he dragged them to 3 straight title games with the likes of Todd Pinkston and James Thrash as his WRs.

That said, his career is over. I'm not even convinced that he'd be better than Brunell at this point--Brunell may be "the weekend at Bernie's of QBs" (as someone upthread brilliantly put it) but at least he knows the playbook.
