Why do I chuckle when I see the nephew of a basketball legend talk about being "entitled"? :breakdance:

EDIT : Good lord.... Facepalm-city for me.

That's out of 6,629 people, not 81% of America. Not exactly a good sample size, let alone an accurate indicator of anything. It's not even a well worded question, because anyone with obvious anti-Jet feelings isn't going to have a problem with it.

Erik Ainge, ladies and gentleman! Thank you, Erik, for your views on the proper conduct of rookie quarterbacks.

And now, with a few words about population control, here's Antonio Cromartie!

Well he's right, I guess but considering his checkered past, he shouldn't really be casting stones from his glass-mansion. :breakdance:

I won't say he speaks for the majority, but I feel safe in saying he speaks for a significant number of players who don't like the idea of a third string QB, who hasn't played a down of real football in the NFL, shooting his mouth off about in-house affairs.

He probably does speak for the majority of players who don't like it, the majority of which acted like jackasses and didn't step up this year.

    McElroy for starting QB!

This McElroy shit pisses me off as does LT and Wayne coming out in the media. Beyond the fact that you're supposed to keep things in house, if all this was going on all year, why weren't you chewing guys out in the locker room then? Why wait till the end of the season, when none of it matters, to rip guys? Especially Wayne Hunter. It's not like he was too busy blocking. He had all the time in the world...unlike our QB!

The thing I am most mad about is that McElroy didn't mention the required 2 teammates in his interview.

Yes, it's not hard to imagine that all the selfish and self absorbed players on the Jets who he was talking about didn't like it.

    F them.

Wait... wut?? That is not what I meant. I don't think. I meant that the percentage was so high because anti-Jets fans would vote that way. Or something.

I have no problem with it either.

The only reason why i was watching first and ten this morning was to hear McElroy but he just canceled on them.

I'm a Jet fan and while I think he was NOT wrong in anything he said, he *was* wrong in how and WHERE he said it which was on live Radio where it would end up back in NYC in the tabloids and newspapers back and front-page.

McElroy, while meaning well, doesn't seem to fully grasp that he's a Public Figure now and anything he says in a public forum will end up being seen/heard from EVERYONE.

Greg fucked up. That's all there is to it. and now he better hope the JETS are in a forgiving mood considering the mess they're in.

Maybe McElroy thought this was his big chance to become a starter. Rex seems to like when people speak their minds. Maybe it will land him the job.

 That cromartie on population control post was hilarious!

The important thing is that BB has the "pulse" of the team and the players know it.
