If boxing wants to become relevant again, they need dominant heavyweights to come back. All this middleweight crap is awful. Same crap different fight. No one wants to watch this garbage. Too bad it will never happen though, the sport is its own worst enemy.

Well Manny should have known that going in, did he actually think that Floyd would stand up and fight him toe to toe? We all know the only people he stands toe to toe with are of the opposite.

Yeah but there is something to be said about clutching, holding and grabbing your way to get out of a counter attack. That was his whole fight, lean in with the head get Manny to come in and Floyd would jab, before Manny could counter Floyd would be holding, grabbing, clutching. Did Floyd throw one combo at all?

Hey I don't like the guy, was rooting for Manny.

But there's no denying how fast and elusive Mayweather is.

    Lightening.

Man. What a sh_t fight. They waited too long for it to be a real match. Pac Man lost his speed so he can't work the angles. Shit. The undercard was a better fight. If my hero, Sweet Pea was still fighting he'd have gelded those two clowns. And I owe my brother 100 bucks!

I bet Floyd would be a decent slot receiver.

My favorite Sweet Pea highlight, he'd have eaten Floyd for lunch and spit him out. This is how you box, the sweet science. He was losing this fight into the 11th round and would have lost if it went the distance.

He'd make a great punt returner and I saw him slide along those ropes a few times and get out of the way but if that's all you've got hard to call yourself the greatest ever. Record means nothing, everyone knows he couldn't hold the jock of many of the all time greats

You want to know what I will never understand about Philly. They got a STATUE of some make believe Italian Stallion. And their greatest sports hero, JOE FRAZIER, with the "Philly Left Hook." NOTHING! Shows how we treat our heroes.

Boxing is about hit and not get hit.

    Final punch stats:

    Floyd - 148 of 435, 34%
    Pacquiao - 81 of 429, 19%

Floyd ran the whole fight? Just look at the punch stats... he landed more and even threw more. Pacquiao was just outclassed, as simple as that. Asshole or not but Floyd is the best boxer of this era, maybe even the best ever.

Sugar Ray Robinson would beat Mayweather so bad he'd be too ugly for radio.

Sugar Ray Leonard would eat him up and crap him out onto the front seat of one of Mayweathers Bugatti's.
