Is this guy a Jet fan? Seems like he has the same kind of wishful thinking we all do. That being said i would take chris long in a second and never look back.

again this is Mayock's projection, and like others have said, i could see Mcfadden sliding out of the top 10 if he is on the board at #6 and the Jets pass. Also can anyone really argue against us passing on Mcfadden to take arguably the best defense player in the draft, and in-arguably the best defensive player at one of our biggest needs(pass rusher)? seriously it's not even that pyscho for Long to be there at #6 anyways, you people act like there is no set of circumstances that could lead to this situation happening, sure it is unlikely, but without any trades being made, it's not impossible.

Miami could take the QB because they clearly need one, and maybe Parcells doesn't feel Long is the real deal, or just not worth #1 overall money. Rams need an OT and it's very likely that Jake long has been there guy all along. If Ryan is gone when Atlanta picks, they are very likely to go DT Dorsey or Ellis. Oakland is in desperate need of a playmaker, and it is entirely possible they take the Physical freak in Gholston, (i stated right after the combine, that Gholston's performance could loft him above Chris Long as the top DE-OLB prospect), and then KC is so desperately in need of an OL that if they can't move the pick, which in Mayocks mock there are no projected trades, they HAVE GOT to go OL with their first pick. leaving Chris Long to fall to the Jets. It is not out of the question that Gholston may have switched spots with Long because of combine performance, since gholston was projected to us at #6, if he and Long switch spots, Long could be staring us in the face come draft day.... Do I actually think it will happen? Nope I dont think he escapes the top five...
