Even when he's "active" he's not always active, because of the migraines.

    yarp

Theres like 7 games that he was "active" in where he effectively did nothing in the game.

I dont know how many of those were due to injury, but im sure at least several of them were

Changing around the receivers this late in the off season would be detrimental. If we can get him without giving up any other WRs, I'd be for it, but we need to stop the musical chairs at WR so Sanchez can actually play more than 1 year with the same receiving core.

If the NYJETS want to make a run for the Super Bowl they most certainly need to make a deal for Harvin. The current WRs on this roster just arent going to do it, even with 1-2 of them having career years Holmes included.

If 2 jet receivers have "career years" we should easily be a top 3 or 4 team in the AFC barring our defense having a catastrophic break down.

    NO.

I truly believe the receivers we have will be looked on as a strength by the end of this season if we have faith in them and let them play

It'd be very nice to have him but it wouldn't matter if Jerry Rice, Randy Moss and Don Maynard were on the field if Sanchez doesn't have the time to throw it. It's all going to come down to the O-line.

I think we're okay at WR. We have lots of young guys, but it doesn't mean we have no good players. Plus, if we really wanted a vet we could get Plax back for vet minimum. Since we're clearly not doing that, I think Tanny and this organization has faith in our patchwork WR corps. Holmes, Hill, Kerley and Schillins (assuming he stays healthy) doesn't sound half bad to me. If Jordan White progresses maybe we have something decent.

Percy Harvin is the only way the Jets can make a run for the superbowl? You really have some interesting ideas.

Im not sure you exactly understand what a career year is

But if you extrapolated Schilen/Kerleys #s over a full year, then bumped it up to a "career year" I would imagine them each having 600-700 receiving yards. And considering that in addition to DK Hill and Holmes, that would mean Sanchez and our passing game are having a damn good year

Are all of your posts this retarded? I mean I try to give the benefit of the doubt, but you are on a role (or anti role) now. You're a fan of this team, but laughing at our WR situation?? I swear that most darksiders on this forum are Pats trolls.

Why? Aren't we supposed to be ground and pound this year? As long as we have one deep threat to avoid being boxed in, having multiple "legit" WRs shouldn't really matter.

I'd rather get a RB or a RT to help our run game.

I too think the Harvin injury thing is overstated because the Vikings relied heavily on Harvin. They used him A LOT. Heck last year they were using him as their Running Back AND Wide Receiver in the same game and he was still getting it done. My point is they overused him to the point where he was susceptible to injuries.

He was their only playmaker. So for the Vikings to give up their best playmaker we will have to give up a lot. I would say a #2 draft pick at minimum and maybe more depending on performance.

A career year for 2 guys with little or no NFL stats or experience. So you making up stats is a career year in your terms and that makes sense?

What isnt there to laugh at? Holmes is the #1 WR and the rest of the group is unproven.............yea I can laugh and clap when they do well...

A career year is the best year of your career. ...it wouldn't take much for nearly every WR on the Jets roster to have a career year.
