We will have to see once the season starts I guess I believe he will develop into a great all around player with some NFL coaching, we have Pace and Coples for run stopping so he doesn't need to come right in and be an every down player right away.

What game film did you watch? I never said he couldn't develop but he has way too much developing to do to be an 18th pick. There are so many moreNFL ready player there is no way we draft him that high.

He's projected to go in the first round and his stock went up a bit after an impressive pro day. I was surprised at the amount of reps he did it was like 30 reps on the bench so that speaks to his work ethic, sooner or later we are going to have to address the lack of a speed rusher there were too many times last year where the QB had all day in the pocket. What do you think about Clinton Dix at 18?

Yes he has a high motor but I watched a lot of plays where he plays with too much zeal, in that it causes him to be out of position. He needs some patience and technique refinement. Getting caught up in measurables can make a lot of fans or even GMs overvalue guys, but I think his tape is clear enough that he won't go nearly at 18. We actually had great pass-rush up the middle, and don't forget Antwan Barnes missed the whole season with injury last year. He is a rotational speed-rush specialist OLB and will be very useful not on the IR. Clinton-Dix is a Jet if he's there at 18 but I just don't believe he falls that far. He has phenomenal sideline to sideline speed but his real value is his coverage, he has amazing ball skills and is always around the ball. He is an excellent FS.

Maximus, the Senior Bowl has a "no blitz" rule, no?

Yes my mistake, although they do do blitz pickup work in practices. Tackles still have to worry about linemen coming through the B gap, and my point is just that the offensive linemen have very little experience together, and that is a huge disadvantage for them. Hence, athletic defensive linemen often look good because lets face it, taking on top senior defensive linemen 1-on-1 without the help of your line and RBs is extremely difficult.
