Yeah... it was some guy that just wouldn't accept the obvious..
Man it was painful. Like talking to a brick wall! It's like he didn't even have eyes...
...he's right behind me isn't he?
Remember when Rex Ryan and Tannenbaum thought Mark Sanchez was an NFL caliber franchise QB.
He's never far away...
If Darnold wasn't here, Luke Falk would def be a fan favorite.
How did we forget Tom tupa??
I confess to buying in to Clemmons and Bollinger.
I still buy into Tom Tupa.
I’m a Falk fan, I hope he can develop into a decent backup. Guess I was wrong about him transitioning into a good NFL QB.
I remember how much you liked him when he was in the draft. I give you credit, Red, he's a lot better than I ever thought he'd be.
Pathetic fact: Sanchez is the Jet's 2nd best drafted QB in the last 30 years and was #1 until last year. I forgot Pennington. Sorry Chad.
Sanchez is 3rd.
depends on how you view Jeff Blake...he was clearly better than Sanchez, but those stats were not in a Jets uniform, although drafted by Jets
Who was that kid Parcells turned to briefly when Testaverde got hurt? He even won his first game. i like him, but no one else did....
Me I bought into Browning Naegle and Glen Foley but both had big first games
I'm probably older than most on this board, but I liked Bob Davis, Namath's backup in the early 1970s. Or how about Bill Demery? As I recall, Demery QB'd game (regular season, not pre-season) where he completed only one pass the whole game (to David Knight), but the jets still won.
nah it was a different kid...he only played a few games. I;ll have to look it up..driving me nuts! But i think he finished the game Teste got hurt and maybe the next cpl games. or Bill brought him in from no where the enxt week.
Tupa? I think he came in for Vinny when he got hurt
