AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woot!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cant believe this is happening!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good god our division is stacked!!!!!!
great trade for the dolphins. although it doesn't really hurt our chances of winning against them because whether revis covers marshall or any other dolphins receiver, he will shut that receiver down, and that makes this trade benefit us from a head to head standpoint as they aren't using that second rounder on improving another position.
I hope we don't play them week one. Holmes is definitely out and there is a better than good chance Edwards will get a one game suspension too. We will be playing them with scrubs.
eh not a big deal. I wonder if Clausen falls the may pick him? Henne I noo has done good but there's always that one year wnder fear. If not there definitely drafting Spiller or Earl Thomas.
He pleaded guilty to something back in Cleveland..rumor is he will get a one game suspension for it. Oh, pleaded no contest..same thing. Here.. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2009/news/story?id=4833980
nope, I want you guys and the Pats weeks 7 and 8. Give Santonio a couple weeks post suspension to get in game rythm first! That said, good move for you guys. Obviously I want the Jets to destory you, but I wouldnt mind it if you guys beat down the Pats. As much as I hate the Phish, I still hate the patsies more...
Agreed. They're without a 2nd rounder for two years in a row. But even if Revis neutralizes Marshall and our DEF is constantly in Henne's face, they still have that damned running game and all that Wildcat bullshit. With all our talk and bluster last year, they still made out DEF look like shit at times. It might help that Sherry Rhodes is gone, so we can at least start tackling from that position if needed. The Dolphins still have a lot of picks this year though. I guess their thinking is, the 2nd rounder didn't hurt their draft too badly, at least not this year: Rd 1, Pick 12 (12) Rd 2, Pick 11 (43) Rd 3, Pick 9 (73) Rd 4, Pick 12 (110) Rd 6, Pick 4 (173) Rd 6, Pick 5 (174) Rd 6, Pick 10 (179) Rd 7, Pick 5 (212) Rd 7, Pick 12 (219) Rd 7, Pick 45 (252)
Obviously Miami is alot more talented and they have that big time WR to take pressure off their other WRs. Their other WRs are going to look alot better now, guys like Hartline and Bess are going to see alot less attention. This makes Miami's O alot tougher to defend.
Great pick up by the Dolphins. 2nd, and 2011 2nd. Eh not bad I suppose. Wonder how us getting Holmes factored into Marshall's value.
Good move for Miami. Marshall is one of the top young WR's. I thought Chad Henne made great strides last year and this is only going to make him better. AFC East WR's Randy Moss Braylon Edwards Brandon Marshall Santonio Holmes Jerricho Cotchery Lee Evans Wes Welker - even though he may be lost for most of 2010 That's a pretty impressive group of recievers
I believe the Fins have overpaid for Marshall here, I mean they are giving two 2nd round picks which is more than the Redskins paid for a franchise QB. Great trade for Broncos value wise and a very good player but I think the Fins have moved quickly to bring in a top WR in the face of the Holmes deal. Like someone pointed out, with our CB's im not overly worried about Marshall, I'm more worried about trying to stop the Wildcat
Is Welker going to be out for most of the season? I didn't know his rehab status. That's good news if so.
Well, good..Holmes isn't the only receiver in the AFC east one strike from a year suspension. Seems Marshall is too. Send him out to South Beach. "But like Holmes, he also brings a reputation of being difficult to handle and a legal record that has him one strike from a year-long suspension." http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft10/news/story?id=5085644
If they can keep him under wraps, they just got a whole lot better. I'm interested to see what they end up paying to extend his contract.
If you think the picks are overpaying..wait until his contract numbers are released.. guaranteed it gunna be ridiculous..
