i really don't understand why there isn't instant replay in baseball. obviously you couldn't have it for balls and strikes but other then that it seems the sport most suited it to and it doesn't have it.

the ball was hit pretty shallowly. the ball beat Reyes to the plate by a decent margin, Olivo was positioned poorly which is the only reason he was able to get in there.
all i know, is if someone of Reyes' speed was on 3rd base with 1 out in a tie game and my LF caught the ball and tried to throw him out, I would go NUTS as the run scored.
