1 minute into that clip you see Sanchez talking to Winslow -- how is that I have yet to see Geno do that this year in 11 games in between series?

This.. x100000..... I make it a point to watch just about every min of every JETS game. I have yet to see Geno talking to ANYONE on the sideline. Maybe the cameras are purposefully not showing it to promote the Diva thing but just by chance I should have seen something by now. Granted he's a rookie but that's all the more reason he should be reaching out to the team for help.

There was a point early in the year where Geno thew a TD and instead of celebrating with the team ran over to the corner and started to showboat by himself in font of the fans. It gave me a bad feeling then, And worse one now.

He better get some competition in here . Sanchez had his moments here good and bad. Geno has a dear in headlights look to him.

He's being nice to the media, there is no way Mark wants to stay here.

Sanchez knows that Rex Ryan is his best chance to start in the is league.

if he is cut, nobody is going to pay him any more than the Jets would pay him, and he would have an uphill battle trying to win a job. but on the Jets and with Rex as his coach, and Geno being as horrible as he has been this season, he has a legit shot at the starting job.

Mark's best option is to stay on the Jets, and if doing so reduces the cap hit next year and doesn't add anything significant to the following year, it would be in the Jets best interest to keep him, for cap reasons as well as security reasons.

I wouldn't have ever guessed I would say this at the beginning of the season, but I think it is very likely he is a Jet next season.

Impossible. There are folks here guaranteeing that Sanchez (i) will never play for the Jets again, (ii) will never play in the NFL ever again and (iii) will be playing in the CFL next year.

Haha yep. Funny part about that, is the 2013 season has proven that there is a spot for Mark Sanchez in the NFL. Not just a spot, but a starting spot too. Many QB's have been beyond terrible in 2013 and the absence of Mark has actually made him look much better. Funny when you think about it.

Stop it. There is 10,000 page thread that was locked that proves you are wrong.

And that idiot that keeps talking about the CFL is posting less and less and less as Geno's struggles mount.

Of course he wants to stay. Rex is a cream puff who refuses to sit him. He knows he has a shot at a career here despite the fact he has been awful. His hair is ridiculous. I don't care the reason for it, he is just drawing attention to himself. He is an immature headcase. If he is doing it to support some cause for kids with cancer undergoing chemo, he could just as easily donate $$ which matters more anyway and he has plenty of, very little of which he as earned.

Sanchez is by far the most charitable player in the league. Just look at how much he has donated the ball to opposing Defenses.

I agree, when Mark got injured and Geno got the nod to start game 1, I was certain that Sanchez played his last game as a Jet -- Now I am not so sure.

Kind of makes sense on both sides to give him a shot next year - drafting a rookie definitely doesn't and I can't think of a FA vet that screams try me over Sanchez.

Mark is as good as gone. Holmes is going with him. It will be cool to pick up a solid vet receiver or guard or qb with that money.

Who is the QB you go and pick up? And no one say Cutler because 1) too expensive 2) He would never do it 3)headcase 4) we don't have Forte, Marshall, and Jeffrey

Matt Moore? please his numbers are lousy and he has never played a full season. You can't bring in a legit backup to challenge to start.

Sanchez could sign as a backup QB in Seattle, Green Bay, Philadelphia, Arizona, Oakland, Houston, Jacksonville, Cleveland...there will be options for him but probably none to start. The Jets could cut him and sign him back if they decide not to draft a franchise QB in round 1. It is probably the only place he would get a chance to compete and start. He could do that and if he has a nice comeback season get his revenge and tell the jets to F-off in 2015.

You are so quick to call someone else lousy but look at who you are trying to defend. There is no defense for a shit QB like Sanchez and his 95 turnovers in 4 years. Keep dreaming. Your lover Sanchez is done in this league. Go ahead and burn the #6 jerseys and posters you have hanging up because you wont need them anymore (unless he plays in the CFL). Idzik and company are moving on and so should you. Its not healthy to have that kind of of love affair with a bottom 5 QB in 4 years. You need some serious help.
