Yup. I was a Sanchez supporter until now. He just isn't good. He isn't even starter material. In The 2 afc championship runs they won in spite of him, not because of him. Sent from my MB865 using Tapatalk
The way this team is playing we'll have a top 7 pick. I doubt we have the #1 or #2 pick, I think those will wind up with the Saints and the Browns, we could wind up as high as #3 but I don't see us any lower than 7th or 8th pick. We lose today and I really only see about 2 winnable games on our remaining schedule...of course this is the NFL and bizzare things do occur
I think the Saints lost their picks this year and next... There're not as bad as they have been playing.
They lost their 2nd rounder. Regardless they wouldn't be drafting a QB. Their defense is horrible they will be taking D.
If Sanchez is allowed excuses for average at best play then why give receivers shit for dropped passes? No receiver is going to catch every pass.
This is the first mention in this thread of Sanchez being a waste of a draft pick... Unless you're talking about the venting about how the Jets suck at drafting. The thread discussion has centered around drafting a QB (which is stupid because it's way too early, and it makes zero sense to criticize a team's ability to build through the draft and affirm that by suggesting that they turn to the draft to fix the team...) and starting Tebow (which is even less intelligent of an argument).
I have been a lurker around these forums for about 2 years but i am so frustrated i had to make an account. My excuse for mark has always been that he would should still be in college and has a tough learning curve ahead but i am not even seeing flashes of greatness. I say we play Tebow because we really cant get much worse than Mark who as we speak is arguably the worst starting QB in the NFL.
That's not an easy argument to win. Sanchez makes some bone-headed mistakes but he can't make Epps or Holmes hold onto the ball and he can't account for Patrick Willis' coincidental placement. Sure, he made a terrible throw, but that type of deflection interception is bad luck and nothing more.
Well at least we shouldn't have to worry about having Tannenbaum anymore..not after he just gave this shit another raise and guaranteed it.
Lack of offensive consistency, no run game in the last two years, and all these additions to the defense have simply under performed. I still think he has what it takes, he just needs to calm down and become more consistent. Take a play out of Harbaughs book and build that OLine and run game.
Tebow in his 16 starts generated more yardage than Sanchez did last season and turned the ball over less. The QB with awful mechanics is actually more efficient than sanchez. The only thing lacking intelligence are the people who have a kneejerk reaction to hate on Tebow despite the statistics that show he's better than Sanchez. EDIT: Also, if you use a top 10 pick on a QB and he's never been a top 10 QB in the league than you blew a draft pick. How much better off would the Jets have been just picking up a free agent QB? Or just avoiding the QB with little college experience.
