Get rid of shotty and hunter then sanchez can make the pro bowl ive been saying this over and over get it done tanny
The more I see it, the more I think that Sanchez can't play after taking a tough hit. It seems like he plays decently at times but gets knocked out of the game too easily. Sanchez needs an oline like 2009 or like the Pats a few years back. If he can't be protected, he can't get it done, period. He's soft like Brady, one solid hit and he's done for the game. He played his best game against the Bills who didn't even get off a single QB hit. I didn't watch the Bills vs Pats game, but I'm guessing the same thing is true about hitting Brady in that game.
Four years in the league... Year 1 - AFC championship game Year 2 - AFC Championship game Year 3 - 8-8 Year 4 - 2-2 and a long way to go. Let the kid have the FULL season and see what happens. If Tebow becomes our qb we will really have become a joke/circus. With that said Sanchez's career may be on the line in the next few weeks.
I agree. Last year there was some validity to Shotty and the Offensive line. This year it's all on him. Just kidding, but you left out someone after the waterboy. Eva Longoria
After the game Sunday, a reporter asked Sanchez if he felt his starting position was in jeopardy after his performance. Sanchez, with a hurt look on his face, said "no." I threw up in my mouth a little. I'm waiting for this guy to take command of this team and at least go down in flames. From the looks of it, it's gonna be a while.
That's actually an interesting point no one has ever brought up; opposing teams don't respect Sanchez so they sell out to stop the run.
One thing no one is talking about here, why does Mark almost never show passion during the game? I'll see him on the bench when the defense is on the field, or he will give the clichéd pat on the back to other offensive players, but I never see him really get passionate about the game, I never see him get angry or pissed off visibly that the game isn't going well. And it disappoints me to see him, just remain straightfaced during games when we're losing, and then I see Tebow going nuts after a 22 yard run against Pittsburgh, the biggest play at that point in the game for us after the opening drive TD. That kind of enthusiasm is infectious and gets the whole team going, and I NEVER see Mark doing that sort of thing.
Exactly if you have no fear the QB can beat you with his arm you stack the box and blitz until he picks it up and starts burning you, Sanchez hasn't done that so far. It's very hard to run the ball when your QB is throwing to a 49% completion %.
It's also hard to throw the ball when your RBs are averaging 2.5 yards a carry. Just saying. It goes both ways.
With the threat of the QB burning you deep with the pass, it typically opens up the run game. anyway some more excuses for Mark He's only in his 4th year, then next year it will be "he's only in his 5th year" etc etc etc the o line is "terrible" from watching the Jets so far this year he has had plenty of protection. Santonio Holmes sucks Running backs cant run Sparano isn't calling the right plays all excuses I've heard from Jets fans so far this year.
Remember in SD in 09 he almost tripped over a wire trying to rush into the EZ to celebrate. Coaching told him to tone it down a couple years ago. There was a reported article that they were working on his emotions from going too high or too low after plays. And Mark took it too far, now trying to stay even keel no matter the result. That type of thing works in individual sports because you can't let your opponent get a bead on you, but in team sports you need to show some passion. Except on this board if your Wilson/Holmes you aren't allowed to do anything to show passion but Sanchez gets criticized for not doing anything, and Revis can do whatever he wants as long as he doesn't want money. But Rex has to stop showing passion in pressers but he shouldn't lie to the media but he should stop talking but we need more passion! :breakdance:
Here is some fancy analysis as to why Mark Sanchez sucks: https://www.profootballfocus.com/blog/2012/10/03/analysis-notebook-week-4/
they haven't been bad they have ben awful outside of the Buff game where he tore apart the Bills. it's impossible to post stats for OL, for this you need to use your eyes. No one expect the team knows their schemes and responsibilities. Our OL has been AWFUL. That is the #1 reason why the O is struggling. There are many reasons including the play of the QB but reason #1 is the OL.
2010 braylon is easily on par with Dez and at the rate Dez is going he will never touch Braylon's best season. Cotch 2010 was better than ogletree 2012, or at the very least we cant tell yet. I would take the jets oline 2010, LDT and Greene over what we have seen from the cowboys backfield so far this year. Murray may end up being the real deal but he sure as hell isnt off to a good start. I would take Witten 2012 over Keller 2010 and Austin 2012 Over Holmes 2010. The point stands however. Sanchez has had a lot of talent around him at times, especially 2010 and he still wasnt very good. If you dropped Sanchez on the cowboys he would still suck. I would take Romo over Sanchez in a heartbeat.
