Shoot, I already miss Braylon. Burress is not an upgrade over BE. If u think that, u r a homer. Be real. He's 34, hasn't played in 2 n a half yrs, n doesn't have 2 yrs of timings with Sanchez. He may put up similar or better numbers than BE, but it would have to do a lot with QB play. I hope BE keeps his head straight, cuz he is supremely talented and can become a top 5 WR in the NFL with a good QB. Derek Anderson n a rookie Sanchez already make him a top 15 n he's just approaching his prime. Tough luck he'll be playing with Alex Smith this yr, but I wouldn't mind grabbing him next yr if he's stays in the game. I'm excited for Sanchez n he will have a break out yr to shut the critics. Also, Santonio is a beast that will light up the NFL this yr n onwards. The Marshall/Santonio n Sanchez/Henne comparisons will be put to rest.
I counted 8 Braylon highlights because of the repeats. They left a number of huge catches out, too (obviously not a Braylon Edwards highlight video). Man it would have been great to have him back, but he's gone. Mason will make up for the hard hits over the middle, santonio will have to catch the deep ones, and Plexiglass will take the jump balls. They'll be fine.
The goal of our team this year is not to need so many heroic 4th qtr comebacks. Those comebacks are nice, but a team as talented as the NY Jets shouldn't have to rely on them week after week.
Yeah, this. The only reason why we ended up in those situations on a weekly basis was because of a shitty OC/QB combination (the latter being due to age and experience, of course). Now that Sanchez is primed to take the big leap and Schotty is taking pointers from Tom Moore, hopefully we can thoroughly control games on both defense and offense.
Easy killer. Sorry for the partial highjack, but watching this really hit home about Braylon leaving. Sanchez had him for his entire career thus far and had some great moments with him. I clearly realize more things are in play besides the money, but I can't help but think that Plax replacing Braylon is a risk to upset MY QBs development.
Bit concerning that he doesn't have enough highlights to fill a 7 minute video without going back to ones from the start about two thirds of the way through... :lol:
