It was a nice thread in appreciation of a player that helped us win a lot of games and you ruined it.
Funny, because your join date is at the same time as the bandwagon you bitch about. Perhaps you can hop off it anytime and our fan base will start to clean up again .....
Take your bullshit to the other thread. It's an appreciation thread you classless asshole - it's retards like you that give this fan-base a bad name. Then your predicting we get the #1 pick (ala having the worst record in the league). Scum of the earth. You obviously aren't looking for the best interests for the Jets if you want to see them win only like 4 games.
I think it's only fair to shed light on the facts. That being he lost us more games than he ever won for us. Our D and run game won the majoity of the wins he where he started. That said, yes, he did win some memorable games I can't deny.
As much shit as I give him recently, he had some great moments with the team while here. He is a good guy and I genuinely feel bad for him.
it's not true and it's not for this thread. keep that in the other thread. This one is an appreciation of our all time leader in playoff wins as a NY Jet QB.
Don't be upset with me because I'm not a blind homer. The organisation (Tanny) made a mistake, period. First by drafting an unproven, questionable guy that high then another one by sticking with him for so long. I don't have to defend those comments, his stats verifies it. I will now complain else where, thank you for your time.
Mark: Thanks for some great memories, some awesome come from behind "heart attack Jets" scenarios (Cle, Hou), playoff appearances, and two of the best years a Jets fan could hope for (or at least I remember since the mid 80's.) You will be missed. Please make sure you find a team with a good OC...in the NFC.
Thanks for the 2 fun years...it was quite the ride for any jet fan!! I'm still watching highlights from those runs...good luck and quick recovery!
He was never my QB, but I wish him well somewhere else. What I will always remember about him is the Houston comeback and the absolute joy he had in the draft when we picked him. Good guy, good teammate, lower tier QB.
Where is this stat? I wanna see it. We didn't make the top 15 in this one http://www.gq.com/sports/lists/201104/worst-sports-fans-in-america#slide=2 I think we have good fans. Albeit a little temperamental. For good reason.
Cheers and best of luck (whether here or elsewhere) to essentially a good dude. Yes, this is an APPRECIATION thread but you're just as guilty as DarrelleRevisHuman of corrupting the spirit of it with that "our all time leader in playoff wins as a NY Jet QB," provocatively-placed comment which you've posted 1000x in THE OTHER THREAD and one that belongs in THE OTHER THREAD. ^^^ That was insidious and you know it. And don't give me some "shedding light on facts" comeback either. It doesn't apply, period. The point is, you couldn't help yourself and went down the same low road as DRevisHuman. Appreciate, say nice things and move on. No need to have the shit storm from that other post spill over to corrupt this thread as well. Don't be an average fan junc ;-)
Sanchez will probably end up with another team where he will battle for the starting job. I bet where ever he goes he'll have more success than the Jets. He just needs a fresh start. If his career ends now he'll still go down as the #6 post season QB rating in NFL history. I hope he does well in the future.
