That play where he directs Braylon to go down & out was beautiful!

Our defense played ok too, I guess.

NFL QBs can all the stats in the world, passer rating; completions etc. But the only one that really matters is wins.....and Sanchise knows how to get them!

Sanchez can be frustrating to watch at times, because he isn't as accurate as some quarterbacks. But I wouldn't trade him for anyone. He's a leader, he's got heart, and he's clutch.

I don't want to rain on the Jets parade but Sanchez has a lot of help. The Jets might be the most complete team in the NFL. I hate the assigning wins and losses to quarterbacks.

Actually my brother joked about it the other day:

"Colts should allow Manning to chase his second SB ring - and to do that, they should either release Manning or trade him to the Jets for some cheap 4th round pick."

    Then he went on with:

"Imagine Peyton Manning with actual protection up front, legitimate receiving threats around him (3 WRs/1TE), RBs to take the pressure off him and legitimate defense that he never had in his entire career. He's winning SB every year during his stay in New York!"

Sanchez definitely has help. He's not at the level where he can carry an offense when the running game can't produce. From the second Pats-Jets game, we learned that Sanchez isn't ready to spread the receivers & hurry up shotgun & blow away the Pats. Also, if Braylon & Holmes went down, Sanchez isn't ready to shred defenses with WR who barely made the NFL like Manning always seems to do. However, the elite qb like Manning, Brady (and maybe Brees) have been in the NFL for many seasons.

However, as a 2nd year qb I'm believing there's a tremendous upside to him with the way he's improving right in front of our eyes. The clutch finishes, the pocket mobility, the ability to make accurate throws at the end of games even when accuracy at beginning isn't there, not afraid to make aggressive calls if defense leaves his WR in single coverage & moving ball well in 2-minute drills.

All Jets fans should be happy w/ what they're developing at qb.

You could see it in Brady's eyes, to him and Belli it's scary, to us it's a dream come true...

He is the future of the position because he only gets better every week. He rarely backtracks, and when he does, with the exception of that one game we just redeemed ourselves in last night, he STILL keeps us in the game.

IMHO, and I've now said it twice, anyone still angered by Sanchez is only doing so because they are in some way racist. They either want a white or black QB, and don't like Mexicans. (Unless he suddenly goes on a downward spiral)
