really though we agree that brunell would be better than KC so i'm just being a pedantic prick with this post.
Once I saw that story about him going bankrupt I said forget Brunell. Theres no reason to add more players in financial trouble on our team. I think Ainge is good enough player to be Sanchez' backup. If they need Sanchez to learn from vet, there are plenty of veteran 30 + aged quarterbacks out there that can come in. Alternatively, I've also thought why can't Chad Pennington come back to play 3rd string QB? I don't see him playing, nor do I want to. He can then transition to the Qb coach, which I've always thought Chad would be good at.
I think Chad is still under contract with the Dolphins, which would be why he can not come back. I agree with you I think he would be a very good QB Coach. He had a great head for the game, it was a shame that his arm was not as good as his head.
What is the harm in adding someone with no money? It seems to me they'd be the most eager to perform well and get more money.
The fear with someone in financial strife is that they can be bought by people with nefarious intent, be that for gambling purposes or to assist our opposition. I'm not suggesting that Brunell would allow himself to be, or that anyone Bill Belichick would ever consider Bill Belichick cheating in such a way Bill Belichick, but it's a risk that you can perhaps understand a team not wanting to take.
Soccer Sorry this is off topic, after being forced to watch 2 world cup games I came to one conclusion, Soccer is for Sissies. What kind of man gets kicked in the shin and lays on the ground crying for 20 minutes, ON NATIONAL TV ? ! Makes me think back to high school when I played football we always said "those who arent tough enough for football, play soccer " Thank god thst sport never caught on in this country. Go Green ! J-E-T-S.... I dont care what anyone says I loved Mark Gastineau.
Pretty pathetic to lose $52 million on real estate. Why when you are pulling in $52 million must you feel the need to add to it even more? When do you say enough is enough? OR at the very least don't invest it all... put a $10 million cap on what you invest for christ sakes.
