Cano is rly rly rly hot. Joba looked pissed, I guess he's not coming back out. They should at least let him start the inning instead of having him throw 5-10 more simulated pitches.
Giambi is finally starting to go with the pitch. If he gets a few more hits that way maybe he'll start believing people when they say that's how to do it.
Another big win. We got great starts the last 3 nights, but the offense has also been on fire for the last 3 games. Man, just a few days ago, we were all miserable. Now look.
Melancon tonight: 2 IP 0 ER 0 H 0 BB 2 K Austin Jackson: 2-5 BB 2B (two of his outs were smoked liners) Robertson: 1.2 IP 0 ER 1 H 1 BB 2 K
Josa Tabata: 3-4, BB, SB, RBI. I heard it was 3 infield singles, so he is hustling. Edwar Gonzalez: 2-5, HR, 2B, 2 RBI ----- The future is bright for the yankees
huge break for the yankees. putz throws away a dribbler by Matsui. Putz dove for it and now he's injured.
John Sterling is a senile fool. I was listening to him while watching the Mets, and there's a Cano sac fly. OK. Then Molina hits a deep one that Ichiro can't get to and Sterling is yelling "A RIBBIE FOR ROBBIE. OH CANO, DONTCHA KNOW?" Besides the fact that his calls suck, he doesn't even know the players anymore. So Cano had a sac fly and then came back to bat and got a hit? Amazing. Guy should be fired. He's awful. I say this every season, and CBS keeps bringing him back.
Hard to believe this is an even better Seattle team than the one we chased almost all last summer for the wildcard. They get Bedard and a couple other better players and are absolutely terrible.
Right before the Yankees' rally, TBS showed the squirrel was back on the foul pole. Rally squirrel has returned.
