He can wear a fucking tutu on the field for all I care as long as he keeps hitting and fielding well.

Sterling just made a flyout sound like a homer or a double off the wall. "And a DEEP DRIVE..."

    That's just routine.

    However, something new for tonight:

According to Sterling, with runners on the corners and no outs, if Swisher just can put the ball in play, it's an automatic run. I never knew that.

Finally, I can't stand the in-game New York Life radio ads. "And there's a home run. So Player X is safe at home. You can give your family a safe and secure future..."

At least save that stuff for when there's actually a play.

The worst is Sterling did it when multiple runners advanced, so he named each one as "safe" at the next base.

What's doing tonight vatos? The Yankees look sluggish. What happened? I thought sweeping the Mexs would get us to play bigger, better, faster, stronger?

very sluggish. This Joba is so boring to watch. HIs control sucks and he cant throw harder than 92 for some reason. How about Hughes takes Joba's fucking spot!!!!!!!!!!

Hinske would be useful as a player to spell A-Rod once a week.

Anyway, the Mariners are stealing Joba blind.

Okay, they just pronounced Putz' name 'Pootz'. I'm fucking done with baseball.

It all started with Wang. It's WAng. Like, "Hey baby, I wanna stick my WANG in your mouth!". Not Who-ang. Are people really that immature they can't say names right?

I was all in favor of Eiland replacing Guidry as the pitching coach... the book on him was that he had worked with the young kids (Hughes, Joba, Kennedy); he knew them, and their mechanics. He used video efficiently. All that stuff.

But we have seen Joba inexplicably lose 2-3 mph off his fastball, as well as his ability to locate, with fluctuations from start to start. We've seen the same thing with Hughes. Either there's something else going on -- and it could very easily be something as simple as youthful inconsistency or lingering effects of past injuries -- or it was Nardi Contreras who deserves the bulk of the kudos for the development of the young pitchers.

Either that, or someone just needs to tell Joba to stop pitching like a pussy.

I almost hope there's something wrong with him, because it's otherwise almost inexplicable.
