What would you guys rather have a quarterback with a throwing and decision making issues or a young qb who has made poor decisions in the past ?

So lets pass on another top QB who if we don't draft will turn into Marino, Elway or any of the other great Qbs

I'm glad this was brought up,because the subject of drafting a qb hasn't been touched in a while.

Vick has done more than just make bad decisions. He has a consistant history of breaking the law and breaking rules. He obviously feels "entitled". He is a stereotype of all that is wrong with obnoxious egocentric pro athletes. I wish him all the best and hope that he is able to move forward. I just have no interest in my favorite team investing any assets into the gamble known as Marcus Vick. Thank you and please remember to vote "trading down in the first round!".

Vinny Testaverde is so much better he cant decide what defensive player to throw the ball to but he usually picks one of them.

I'd rather have Cutler, Young or Leinart over any other QB in the draft!

The funny thing is that more than half of the Jets have that ego. Ive met alot of them before games at player parking and you should see the way these guys talk to you or flat out ignore you.

If we draft Vick that's exactly what we would be doing.

I think maybe we should try and get all those guys on the sidelines. As a matter of fact,I think i'll start a new thread on that.

As long as that remains unpunishable by jailtime or the team I am willing to support those guys. Ignoring the fans does not translate into being a miscreant.

No but ignoring the fans for stand by them whether they are winning or loosing and who pay the tickets and pay their salaries just shows that players today have ego that are far larger than what they used to be.

The funny thing is that guys like Martin and Mawae and Ty Law would all stop and talk to you and it was the young guys who could care less about you.

There is no such thing as a sure bet, but I would put my money on them rather then any other QB in the draft.

Ye but ur also going to be throwing alot of money their way and look what happened last time we did that (Pennington) -- Vick has problems - ill be the first to say it, but with him, you are going to be paying him alot less :shit:

No matter who we draft at the 4 slot we will be throwing out alot of money, so I would just take a chance on a franchise QB who has proven himself in college then a guy who screws up...history always tends to repeat itself, just look at TO.

because you won't get Cutler, Young or Leinart any lower then 7th plus I feel they are the best available and that's our biggest need, besides the OL.
