    The reason the Jets are staying put is because the blocking scheme is changing.

    But basically Cally's zone blocking scheme requires thought, Sparano's is basically -- block the guy in front of you... I have a feeling Ducasse will be the starting RT by mid season. With the change in the blocking system, it should be a lot easier for him. His main issue was understanding who to block. He's an absolute bull otherwise. With the man blocking system, he won't have to think as much.

    That way Rock Head Ducasse can excel and just mash players....


    Folks these three statements tell you all you need to know about the RT situation and why the Jets FO is not in a panic about it.

    All I read is how the Jets O Line is going to suck this year, I have a feeling it is going to be just the opposite. I think the Jets with who they have RIGHT NOW, are going to be one of the best O lines in then NFL..

    I also agree that they would upgrade the RT spot only if an excellent player becomes available for the right price. Otherwise I think they are more then willing to going in to the season with who they have and I tell you right now, it'a going to surprise a ton of people...
