Yes, trade away our best player to move up 4 spots in a draft to gamble on a QB, makes sense.....

Yeah that was up before FA started.........
I saw that but the mock was posted before FA......the pick is coming down to MM or a pass rusher.

I heard what they were saying about Bridgewater too. Not a fatal flaw.

that's gonna require an even worse season than last or finding a great QB off the radar this year

I don't know how to feel. Not going bad, but it is a bit underwhelming to me. I am no expert QB scout though lol but that's just how I see it. Now, this may not be a bad thing because it could make him fall to us.

Possibly. If Mariota didn't develop, then Mac would be crucified for the move and likely fired in a few years. I like Mo and hope he remains a Jet his whole career, bu OTOH, what if Mo is wanting Revis, Watt, or Suh money and Mac thinks that's way too much and sees that they'll likely never reach an agreement? Maybe Mo's agents have told Mac that if they franchise him, he will leave the next season and never accept any other offer from the Jets. In a situation like that, it would make total sense to move Mo to get the Jets QB of the future. As good as Mo is, no DE is as important or can affect the team's fortunes as much as the QB can.

Are we watching the same Pro day? His accuracy has been pretty bad for this being a scripted practice

Im watching his throws and im sorry im not impressed. He is gonna take years to develop. If we do take him I want him to sit for atleast a year.

His throws aren't blowing me away, his downfield accuracy isnt great and his drops need work.

Im not saying he will be a bust, but he is a project.

I hope the same thing! LOL

I know that you are a true Jets fan and would never hope for a player to fail so you would be right. You're too smart and classy for that.

Yeah, that's the problem. Take this guy or wait forever again..what's it been 45 years since Namath we have been waiting? If a QB is good he will never get traded or make it to FA so take what you can when you can.
