It's probably a good thing he ran less than Rodgers this year. I don't care what they have him listed in the media guide but he is built like a teenage girl. He's out for the season now but if he ran even as much as Rodgers he'd been out of the season much earlier. He needs to bulk up
I agree but that's not the point. He's still a very young kid and within 2 years he'll be filled out physically. But folks like Brad claiming he makes his living running the football haven't been watching anything more than the ESPN highlight runs. He's not a running QB. He's playing much more from the pocket and is not taking off nearly as much as one would have thought given his college style. He has a few designed runs a game where he totally protects himself. He's got 34 rushing attempts this year. Russell Wilson has 92. Rogers 52. Ryan Fitzpatrick has 56. He doesn't run a tremendous amount. _
You are missing the point. To have experience, to have knowledge of it will help the progression process in the NFL. Carr has had all types of knowledge and resources to help him become the player he is today. Majority of the other QBs didn't have that chance. He could be as good as Rodgers if he continues to improve. Rodgers learned behind Favre and had ample time to develop. They have similar still sets.
