The Raiders oline is worse than the Rams........all Bulger would get out of Oakland are a few more concussions and perhaps his retirement papers.
Yeah, I'm not saying it'd be a smart thing to do but I bet he'd rather start on a shitty team than be a backup on a good team
maybe his health and a steady paycheque are more important to him...... You're right though...he'll probably want to start....I just don't think he'll want to go to Oakland or any other shitty team.....my assumption is he'll try to find a team where he has a chance to win.
Yeah, maybe the Panthers. They have a good team but Delhomme has been a disaster. They could draft a kid and start Bulger in the meanwhile
The point about his health is a good one....Bulger does not need anymore $$$. As Tom (puke) Brady said on "60 Minutes"....."I already have more money than I will ever be able to spend, why do I need more money?" (re: he would rather leave money on the table, to get more good players, and therefore more wins.) One of my neighbors and I had a heated discussion about this the other day. My point was that Kurt Warner has 7 kids & he should stay healthy, he has plenty of money. My neighbor was livid, he said, "Warner has 12 mill guarenteed....who cares if he gets beat up & punched around?" Maybe guys just see all of the trauma & injuries differently.
