Did you read my post and just took what I said and re-worded it. Or are you one of the posters who doesnt read all the responses first??
Exactly, very well said. Someone's vertical is perhaps the best measure of explosiveness, which is one of the most important qualities for a pass rusher. However, as impressive as that pic is, 39.5 in. is not awe-inspiring, especially considering he's not extremely big. Mario Williams at 40.5 in. or however high Hydro said, now that's insane, especially for someone who's almost 300 pounds. I would still love it if we could somehow land Lawson at 29 though.
Well, actually, now that you mentioned it, I did happen to bypass your post. I am soooooo sorry if that offended you in any way. Seriously, you don't understand how sorry I am that I missed one of the thousands upon thousands of posts on this board........ By the way, did you ever think that someone, other than your genius self, would possibly be able to concieve the extremely complex idea that a defensive lineman with a high verticle-jump might be a nuisance for a quarterback?
A verticle jump utilised the same muscle groups as explosive sprinting (which a sackmaster is going to be doin) If he can jump this high he can sprint faster than yo mumma.
