I want either the avatar with the nugget in it, the nugget avatar or the nugget avatar. Either one would make me happy in the pants.
Phil Taylor seems to be one of the most popular picks for the Jets. I want no part of Taylor!! Taylor was up to 380 LBs at one time. Had a good 2010 season, but was luke-warm before this year, beware one year wonders. Was at best a 3rd RD pick 3 to 4 months ago. Left Penn State under negative circumstances. I hope we go in another direction.......my "Jerry Hughes" for 2011.
Definitely in agreement. I'd much rather see us target Sione Fua later in the draft if we're looking to pick up an NT.
I don't know, I don't hate the selection as much as other people think. I just think that Taylor isnt close to worth taking in the first round. He is a 2nd round pick at best. Taylor should be a good player, just not in the late first If we did take him I would be more upset of overvaluing a player and taking him to early
I would take Taylor in mid rd 2 if we traded down. My redflags, as I mentioned in a few posts above, are all concerns that eliminate him from Rd 1 consideration.
That would cost us this years third rounder and next years second rounder as a minimum. There is no way that this will happen.
I explained my POV on Taylor. http://forums.theganggreen.com/showpost.php?p=2136980&postcount=23 Name recent outstanding player in the NFL from Baylor?? Thet're are none..zero. Santana Dotson and Mike Singletary are probably the best ever...slim pickings. Were talking apples and oranges....Taylor vs Ayers, 2 different players. Ayers is clearly the BPA it isn't even close. Ayers is younger than Pace and more athletic. Calvin Pace when healthy and younger was a solid OLB, not outstanding, but solid.
