Who's the Titans center? Edit: Eugene Amano and Ngata had 4 solo tackles and 1 pass deflected. No sacks.
I understand how discussion of Mangold's likely length of being out makes people look ahead, and it may well be that his being out will end up putting a big dent in the Jets' chances of going to the SB this year. But the schedule is still played one game at a time. The Ravens lost yesterday, and I had not expected that. I am going to focus on the Oakland game, and by the time the Jets get to Baltimore, we'll see how it looks.
I heard it on the radio station down here. They said that is the reason the Dolphins did not sign him, after it was widely reported they had. He may have been signed pending a physical. BTW I am not sure of the validity, I want to be completely honest about that. However, the fact he is still out there and barely mentioned at all lends credence to this..........

I hope he's back by the Patriots game. We'll need him for that game for sure. We need for every game, but Patriots game is a must.
Rex will shit bricks with Haloti's face stamped on them if we dont have a decent offensive line against the ravens. However, we must watch tape of them against Titans. We could learn a little about how Ravens lost that one
ESPN is saying 2 games, we can live with that if he comes back feeling good for the showdown with that Pats.. Its part of the game
Tanny has to trade his way out of this..will we pay over the odds maybe but look at franchises who are in rebuild mode and see what we can get i know this isn't Madden but whenever we have had a hole tanny has filled it via trade..jones/barlow/edwards/holmes/cromartie
Ravens lost that one for the same reason we came out flat at the Steelers in the AFC Champ game. All offseason they heard how they couldn't beet the Steelers and how they blew the playoff game. The Ravens were emotionally drained.
I doubt they bring anyone else in for a few games. What the hell is the point of wasting roster spots on backups if you don't plan on using them?
How crazy would it be if Baxter worked out, there are tons of UDFA stories like his. Maybe all he needs is a shot, just trying to think positive. Hey, you never know.
The one positive is we have one of the best OL coaches in the league. May have to adjust the scheme for some more max-protect/keeping RB's in longer, but good coaching will hopefully keep us afloat.
I will say one thing as prev posters point out , Callaghan is up there with Scarmecchia or whatever hes called at Ne as the best OLine coach so my paranoia aside lets hope he can sort it out but lets be honest guys its not been good so far.
To step in during a game in case of injury, or perhaps to remove the risk of the starters getting injured in garbage time against crappy opposition. Colin Baxter wasn't signed to take the opening snaps in Baltimore and Foxboro.
Rabach wouldnt be a bad call imo..can play center was serviceable last year and at least has exp of making the calls etc. he failed a physical in Aug but it was more due to recovery time than anything
