Chad has a lot of supporters, myself included, but it is absurd for Coach Mangini to start him over Clemens next week. This is the case for numerous reasons. Game preparedness is so big in Mangini's book, but this team has not been prepared since the beginning of pre-season. Mangini is young and stubborn, with the 3/4, 4/3 defense crap and now with the qb. He has so much to learn. If we go 3-0 in the next three against the worst teams in the NFL (beside us and the Fins), I'll eat this post, but IMO, Mangenius has hit upon some bad kryptonite.
I specifically noted that I thought it was a bad move. My point was that here was a bona fide head coach making a gutsy move like that. Mangini is not going to be vilified by making a QB switch with the team at 1-4. Shanahan thought the team would make the playoffs with Cutler starting the final 5 games. They actually would have if they beat SF in overtime in Week 17. Plummer had been playing poorly. Cutler did not play great, but he did play better than Plummer. I'm not sure why you wrote this: "The Broncos...had a chance last year to make a run but didn't take it." Shanahan took the chance, it just didn't work out.
The Bills are giving it to the Cowboys on MNF right now making the beating the Jets took not seem so bad. 13-24. The D has been jumping on Romos passes intercepting 4 of them one for a TD. Greer whom stole one from Chad had another one tonight. That BUF D is not as bad as the stats say. We have not had an easy schedule this year still Chad needs to be benched. mangini PLEEEZ at least a W will make a difference to this fan.
Romo played a terrible game. The Bills D might not be that bad but 5 picks is 5 picks. On top of it the Bills still lost. They found a way to lose. Bad teams do that, and the Jets lost to them. We would have been blown out of the building the way the Bills played tonight.
This team is finished...Why prolong the inevitable? We all know Kellen is going to come in...So let's see him and let him show what he has!
